Sunflowers




Each sunflower flower head is a capitulum or cluster of perfect trumpet shaped flowers.

The flowers open in a spiral pattern from the outside in feeding our pollinators over a long time.

Corn





Each tassel once fertilised grows into one corn kernel. Corn is wind pollinated. The pollen is produced on the top of the plant and is blown/shaken down to the waiting tassels.
