Seeds: Corn is up

Corn is up.

Corn needs to be planted in blocks for good pollination. I usually plant four rows minimum. The inside of the beds are kept well mulched.

I am a mother of 3 who lives on a beautiful farm in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

My family lives off the grid in an earth house and we farm; ducks, chickens, pigs, sheep, cows, and heirloom vegetables and trees.

Our farm is mostly native bush and we farm and garden in a regenerative way.

The 'seeds' in this blog are a way of sharing the many beautiful patterns and rhythms in our lives.

Many of our days are spent on the farm or exploring the local rivers, lakes, bush, harbors and coast. This is where I collect the 'seeds' shared on these pages.
